Your Website Being Found From Twitter

Check the fundamentals of your Twitter account

Make sure that your Twitter account's background is professionally looking with a call-to-action, statements of clear benefits of working with your company, a phone number and a website address. Twitter profile page is really a mini-website.

Time management tools

It is recommended to use one of the free tools like: Ping.fm, SocialOomph and Hootsuite. It is better to program tweets for a month ahead of time.

Measurement systems

Google Analytics is a great tool to measure the amount of visitors that are going to the website and how many are converting. Google Analytics will tell you how many people are going to the website from your Twitter account, where they are going, how long they are staying in the website, how many are new visitors and so on. By tracking conversions, we can tell how many people converted (bought something, filled out a form, registered to a newsletter...).

Soft sales approach

Use benefits or a few more calls-to-actions in the Tweet. Direct sales pitch is not as effective in social media.
